Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Excellent food, the best service. We booked a table but we were running late. The restaurant owner was so kind to keep the table for us. I think the food is priced well however we would be happy to pay more because the quality is excellent. I highly recommend this place it’s a must visit when in Trapani !!"
"Overall, the restaurant is definitely worth recommending. I had the chance to try bruschetta in three flavors. The first one - with eggplant paste – was phenomenal. The second – with anchovies – typical for the region, good but nothing particularly special. The third – with tomato sauce and cheese – was a pleasant surprise. The cheese had a unique flavor and paired wonderfully with the sweet cherry tomato paste. Everything was served on crispy bread drizzled with olive oil. At the beginning, I received some bread as a starter, but I missed a short explanation from the staff about what it actually was – it was just placed on the table. I brought also a salad with tomato, olives, onion and capers - great tomatoes - not needed extra spices, all together worked tasty :) The waiters did check in during the meal to ask if everything was fine, which was nice. Towards the end, however, I felt a bit of rush – as if the team wanted me to free up the table already. The service was efficient and professional, but at times I felt it could use a bit more joy and enthusiasm, which would bring even more charm to the place. I’m curious to try the pasta here – maybe I’ll have the chance next time. Perhaps see you soon!"
"Decent restaurant off road from the most noisy pedestrian street in Trapani. High standards and level of food proposed. Attentive staff, though with some exceptions, who obviously feel tired of tourists. AC inside, but more atmospheric outside. Difficult to find a space for parking in close proximity. We’ve been late due to this and restaurant cancelled our reservation via Forks, although found a table when we arrived. Worth to spend an evening )"
"I was recommended to visit this place for dinner by someone local. People were very friendly, and we found a seat inside with AC (which was ideal considering the hot weather outside). There aren't a lot of seats, and the place inside is not huge. We selected a few very good local dishes and if a bit pricey, but probably because of the tourist location. The food's quality was great and the service was extremely fast."
"Incredible food and great atmosphere. Definitely get the mussels. They are delicious and a huge serving. The pasta was perfect. The clam and pistachio pesto was our favorite."
"delicious food! the pasta norma sauce had so much flavour and the tiramisu is extraordinary"
"We had a delicious Sunday lunch at this Trattoria. We shared three pasta dishes and a bottle of white wine between four people. The food was very tasty. Highly recommend the Norma, squid ink with prawns and the vongola verde. Thankyou to the chef and waiters."
"Restaurant in operation since 1945. Owners-managers work there and are very pleasant. English is understood, and the menu has English subtitles. A long covered patio of tables of 4's and 2's as well as a dining room (see photos). 2 eggplants appetizers (local specialty), a swordfish entree, a large bottle of sparkling water, and 2 large (400ml) beers totaled €61.50"
